SCHOOLS
EU citizens are able to send their children to the local schools. You must first of all have registered (your MEU1) with the Immigration Department. If you are working, have the form which Immigration give you stamped by the Works Office on Franklin Roosevelt. You will all need 4 photographs.
You will need your child’s last School year report with a certified translation either into English or Greek (the Public Information Office can do this), your passports, full personal details (where you were born, where you live, employment, telephone etc), a certificate from the Mukhtar saying where you are living and working in the Village, and a statement from your employer if you have one.
There are of course also a number of private English-language schools available, and access to the British Bases school at Episkopi for a fee.
