To all Dog Owners

Subject: Unleashed dogs –Foul in the public streets

In the shadow of the recent terrible events that occurred among our citizens in our community, which triggered from the uncontrolled dogs of some neighbours, we would like to bring under your attention the following;

• Keep your dog on a leash or in a fenced-in yard when outdoors. Even if you live where it is legal to allow your dog off-leash, you should supervise him at all times. Do not let him wander the neighbourhood or get out of your sight.
• Do not leave a barking dog outdoors. Continuous barking is not only unfair to your dog. It is rude and annoying to neighbours.
• Pick up after your dog. No one wants to step in or smell that "gift" your dog left behind. Please pick it up right away and dispose of it properly.

In view of the above, that are evidently aiming at averting any problems to arise, the Council will show ZERO TOLERANCE by cancelling the dog permit, taking at the same time all the necessary measures against the violator without any further notice.
