BOOSURA/CAPE ASPRO
This tiny beach is in a dramatic, spectacular, wild area, 5-10 minutes walk along the coast to the west of Monte Beach, the abandoned restaurant at the western end of Pissouri Bay. Park behind the restaurant, and there is a track going along the cliff face. It is very narrow and precipitous in places, and not for anyone who is afraid of heights. However, it is perfectly walkable - it is a favourite of the walking group - but you walk this path entirely at your own risk. The path changes depending on weather damage: if you find stones blocking the track, this is an indication to take an alternative path.
The path takes you to Cape Aspro, a wonderful vantage point out across Pissouri Bay.
Just beyond Cape Aspro is a tiny, isolated bay, which you would have had all to yourself if it were not for this posting....
The scenery is fabulous, and you may well be joined by feral goats on the cliffs above.
