LAND GRANTED BY THE CHURCH FOR NEW FOOTBALL PITCH

As you know, the special annual service for the anniversary of our Village Church, Apostolos Andreas, was celebrated by Bishop Georgiou of Paphos last Monday, 19th September.

Following the Service, the Mukhtar was able to announce that the Church authorities have granted a new piece of land, some 27,000 square metres, to the Village for the construction of a new football field. The Mukhtar expressed thanks to the Bishop for his support in finding an alternative site for the present football pitch.
