2011 Autumn Programme:
Fri 4th November 2011 - Dr Smadar Gabrielli has kindly agreed to give us a lecture entitled " From Material Culture to Cultural Identity: the Hand-made Geometrical Painted Pottery of the Mamluk Levant". The lecture will start at 1930hrs in the Main Hall at St John's School Episkopi Station.
Fri 18th November 2011 - Dr Eleni Procopiou has kindly agreed to give us a lecture about her excavations at the Katalymmata Ton Plakaton, behind Akrotiri Village. The lecture will start at 1930hrs in the Main Hall at St John's School, Episkopi Station.
Fri 9th Dec or Fri December 2011 - the AGM followed by a lecture. Details will be announced later.
January 2012 - Dr Alison South-Todd has kindly agreed to give us lecture. Details will be announced later.
Site Visits (see above):
It is hoped to arrange a full day's visit to include Carobs/Olives/Wine and Sugar production in Nov. More details to follow.
It is hoped to arrange a site visit to Akrotiri Clubhouse and parts of the Archaeological Trail, primarily designed for those members who have not been before getting priority. More details to follow.
